Hewitt Wolensky Sponsors Second Annual Suits For A Cause Clothing Drive To Benefit WHW
Hewitt Wolensky is a proud sponsor of the Second Annual Suits for a Cause clothing drive to support WHW (Women Helping Women/Men2Work). Suits for a Cause joins together law firms and legal groups across Southern California to help WHW further its important work. The clothing drive will take place from June 1-30, 2012.
WHW is an Orange County non-profit with a simple, but incredibly important mission – to help men and women get and keep their jobs. WHW provides a business wardrobe to low-income individuals, and is dedicated to helping these men and women get jobs through resume assistance, interview skills training, networking workshops, computer training and various other programs focused on job placement. WHW empowers job seekers by helping them develop the skills they need to become economically self-sufficient.
WHW was started by two female legal professionals who were victims of domestic abuse. After surviving domestic abuse, they faced the daunting task of rebuilding their professional wardrobes to return to the workforce to support themselves and their children. Over the past two decades, WHW has grown by adding a men’s division and by expanding its focus to providing a full array of employment services including job placement, professional attire and image consulting. Hewitt Wolensky is proud to support Suits for a Cause and to help engage the Orange County legal community to help WHW fulfill its vision.
